Our Doctor
At Visionary Eye Associates, we are dedicated to your eye health. Dr. Dao and his team believes in providing the highest quality of eye care while also providing a friendly and personalized attention to your eye health.
Dr. Dao graduated from the University of North Florida in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He received his Doctor of Optometry degree at The New England College of Optometry in Boston, Massachusetts in 2012 with an emphasis in primary eye care.
Dr. Dao has completed several internships including one at the Dorchester House Community Center, which is a multi-specialty healthcare center in Dorchester, MA. He has also spent his time at the Veteran Affairs Health Center in Lowell, MA by providing eye care services to our retired military personnel. Dr. Dao also spent his time in Miami by completing an internship at the Dan and Hoffman’s Eye Center in South Florida, which emphasized diagnosis and treatment of ocular disease and management of refractive surgery (LASIK and PRK) as well as cataract surgery management. During His free time Dr. Dao enjoys going camping and fishing around the Jacksonville area.

no-show & cancellation policy
CANCELLATION OF AN APPOINTMENT
This policy has been established to help us serve you better.
It is necessary for us to make appointments in order to see our patients as efficiently as possible. No-shows and late-cancellations cause problems that go beyond a financial impact on our practice. When an appointment is made, it takes an available time slot away from another patient. No-shows and late-cancellations delay the delivery of healthcare to other patients, some of whom could be waiting several weeks to be seen.
If it is necessary to cancel your scheduled appointment, we request that you call as soon as possible. Appointments are in great demand. Your early cancellation will give another person the possibility to have access to timely medical care.
NO-SHOW POLICY
A no-show is someone who misses or does not cancel an appointment with a 24 hour notice. A failure to show at the time of a scheduled appointment is recorded in our appointment schedule as a no-show. The first time there is a no-show a fee of $30.00 will be billed to the patient. This fee does not apply to any insurance company and this fee is required to be paid prior to scheduling the patients next appointment. If there is a second no-show a new fee of $30.00 will be billed to the patient and this fee is also required to be paid prior to scheduling the patients next appointment. Three no-show may result in the termination from our practice.
LATE CANCELLATIONS
Late cancellations (less than 24 hours prior to scheduled appointment) will be considered a “no show”.
